![]() I really hope Briggs decides to write the other dates at some point (I am so curious about who set him up). I’ve always considered him a bit of a scene-stealer. It’s a very lighthearted addition to the series, and great for anyone who enjoys Asil’s character. Patricia's school librarian mom and booklover sister introduced her to the magical world of reading. She has written over twenty books including stand-alone novels and graphic novels. I laughed out loud throughout the whole story. Patricia Briggs is the 1 New York Times bestselling author of the Mercy Thompson urban fantasy series and the Alpha and Omega series both set in the same world. “Unappreciated Gifts” was utterly delightful. I’m going to save them and spread them out over the Christmas season – I refuse to start Christmas until after Thanksgiving. So far I have only read “Unappreciated Gifts”, but I look forward to reading the others. I saw a brief aside about it on her facebook, looked it up, and voila! Naturally I downloaded it immediately.Ī Fantastic Holiday Season: The Gift of Stories has 14 Christmas-themed short stories. Seeing as how I am the sort of person who has a calendar with the release date of the next book or story of every single author I enjoy that I keep religiously, this was rather shocking to me. ![]() Somehow, Patricia Briggs released a short story in an anthology last month and I just now heard about it. ![]()
